About Us

Set in the middle of the countryside between North Yorkshire and East Riding, we are on the Trans Pennine walk and cycling route, Wake up with the sounds of birds and fresh country air. ( there are cockerels nearby.)

We have lovely spacious pitches with 10amp EHU. There is also a meadow for the camping side as well ( we do have a small number of ehu pitches in the meadow). Large stable conversion for the shower and toilet facilities and disabled wet room access.

People already travel miles to dine at some of the excellent country pubs which sit on our doorstep, we even have a microbrewery just a stone's throw away in Snaith… (our local market town)

Or you can travel further afield to Hull / Leeds / Doncaster / York / Manchester and see the sights.

So if you're looking forward to a lazy country holiday/break, we are the ideal relaxing retreat for you. (Please note that July/August is busy with families).

We only have 3 showers on the site in the utility block in the main area, comprising a lady's area housing 2 toilets and a shower, we have a men's area housing 2 urinals, 2 toilets and a shower and then we have a family wet room with disabled access, housing a toilet and a shower. Outside hot washing up pot area. In the meadow we have a basic toilet block for overnight convenience, housing 2 x ladies' toilets and 2 x men's toilets, 2 urinals and a COLD pot wash area. We are reviewing additional showers but in the meantime ask guests to be as avoid taking super long showers and avoid busy times.

We have an elsan and grey waste area behind a fenced and private area.
